I actually booked this place because of the reviews, so it's only fair I leave one to help the next stranger booking from far away. 😊 The house is exactly as advertised..what you see in the pictures is what you get. We checked in quite late, around 11 p.m., but Joan had already arranged everything, so we were inside the unit within a minute. The check-in process was smooth and stress-free. We had such a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious, the house is clean, and it's fully equipped with all the essentials. There are shops easily reachable, and the unit is in a calm apartment.. We travelled with our 9-year-old daughter, and we lacked absolutely nothing. For the price, this place exceeded our expectations. Joan was always just a call or message away whenever we needed anything. The management is doing an amazing job. Safe to say this is now our go-to stay whenever we're in Mombasa... at least until we can afford a five-star hotel 😂⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely place, really felt like home. Stayed for over a month cause it was peaceful. The staff are friendly, there are some shops close by, a cleaner that comes every few days, otherwise all good.

Power recharging (tokens) wasn't automatic, I had to reach out after every few days. The balcony is lovely but there are too many flies to enjoy it during the day. Maybe some sort of anti-bug spray would help. The mattress is super hard if you prefer the sink-in type. Quite a number of power cuts in the area, but that's a Kenya power thing, I guess.
