Camper on the New River in Todd, NC

The location was spot on for what we wanted. A literal stones throw from the river. Everything was just perfect. The hospitality was super warm and welcoming!!

This location is so private, so quiet, with such beautiful views! The property is on The New River Bank. Make sure you turn RIGHT into the property because GPS tells you to turn left. Just an FYI there is no cell signal when you arrive at the camper make sure you connect to the WiFi, it provided excellent service all weekend. We had to use the satellite on our iPhones to contact the owners upon arrival. The fireflies put on a spectacular show. The chipmunks are adorable they hang out in and around the metal garbage cans. There’s a camp store in case you forget anything. The camper has been fully renovated, it was beautifully done very modern. There is a bathtub, if you have little kids. There’s a play jungle gym area, tree swing, pergola with 2 hammocks and 2 zero gravity chairs that face the mountain, there’s a propane grill. We really enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to booking again in the future. Check out River Girl Fishing Company for all River tubing, kayaking, fly fishing guides, lures etc., while there make sure you stop in at Todd Mercantile for delicious cinnamon rolls and coffee.

There isn’t one thing to dislike about this location.!!

Location and landscaping

This was the first time booking a camper and we were so impressed with it having everything we needed that we plan on staying here again. The price was very reasonable. The location was perfect for a quiet getaway with sounds of the river. We loved watching the birds and the little chipmunk in the morning. The inside of the camper was cute and very clean and everything was exactly has it was described in the description. You can fish, kayak or lounge by the fire pit at night. You could be in Boone in a few minutes. The host of the property done an excellent job communicating with us and surprised us with a special treat for our anniversary ❤️
