Penthouse Apartment with Balcony in City Centre and Private Parking

BEST ACCOMMODATION in Tórshavn! The entire second floor of a separate house right in the centre of Tórshavn! The location is great - about a 2-minute walk to the nearest grocery store, 3-4 minutes' walk to the main promenade (Niels Finsens gøta) and about the same to the main harbour etc. This property has 2 private parking spaces, perfect for travellers with rental cars, within walking distance of all the main attractions in Tórshavn! If You want to use Your car for a longer trip - You can always return to the narrow streets of the city centre and Your parking spot will be waiting just for You! Really convenient. As for the house itself - it's spacious and equipped with everything You need! A large living room with a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, washing machine etc., a separate, warm and cosy bedroom with a big bed and one additional gem - a private balcony with a table where You can eat Your breakfast (or whatever ;) while enjoying the view of the sea and the harbour. Opposite the house is the well-known Tórshøll pub. We were worried that the pub might be too noisy... to our surprise You can feel really relaxed here. I can truly recommend this accommodation in Tórshavn and if I go back here - I'll definitely rent the same place! Only bear in mind one thing - You pay on-site, rather than by bank transfers. ;)

The only downside - You have to bear in mind that there are quite steep stairs but it's only a problem when carrying our "light" suitcases up and down. Weather :) It's so cold there in Faroe Islands ;P During our stay there was also so much fog during our trips so a few spectacular views were "not available" then... so we need to return ;)

Location is superb. Walking distance to the old town area and bus terminal. Can take free bus to other parts of Torshavn. Private parking is rare in town. Thanks Bjorn for his advice on things to look out for when travelling on a windy day.

Low ceiling on one side of the bed. Steep staircase to drag the big luggage up.

Great location. Very nice hosts that ready to help. The most important private parking spot which essential if one travels by car.
