Lone Star Hacienda

The house was very accommodating. The owners gave a lot of attention to the little details to ensure an enjoyable experience for families including, but not limited to, a large variety of games, books, and DVD movies; large indoor and outdoor dining tables; comfortable seating and beds; and a well-stocked kitchen. We loved the rustic Western decor. My personal favorite was the stirrup towel holder. The game cave was a huge hit with the younger generation! The fire pit was a hit with the older generation, especially when the fireflies greeted us.

You can tell the house is used often, as there was wear and tear in some areas, i.e. a laundry door that sticks to its track and a hole in one of the patio dining chairs. The angled kitchen layout was a little awkward and tight for two or more people accessing utensils, coffeemaker, etc. The kitchen is, however, just as beautiful as the rest of the house!
