Golden Mountain is a family-run homestay with more of a small-hotel feel, and there’s even an elevator, which was a nice bonus. It was very clean, the family was lovely, and the location was great — easy to walk to shops, cafés, and restaurants, and even better if you rent a bike or scooter from them to explore around Tam Coc. The bedding was especially comfortable, with a cozy duvet and pillows. Room views can be limited depending on which room you have, but the best views are from the rooftop, especially around sunset, and you can ask for a table and chairs to be set up there. They also offer laundry service for a small fee, and mine was ready by the end of the day and smelled amazing. WhatsApp was the easiest way to communicate with the family and worked well for arranging anything I needed. Breakfast was basic. Overall, it was very good value for the price, and the family made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. I enjoyed it enough that I extended for a few more nights.

We enjoy our stay in this hotel, the hotel is new and the owners were very nice and accommodating. We also enjoyed our breakfast because you can choose on their menu and it’s quite big serving. 😊

We arrived at 3:00 in the morning and the owner had already left the key at the reception so we went up without disturbing anyone. The room was very clean . The owner was very helpful to wash our clothes and separate when we arrived from the tours at the end of the day. We decided to stay one more night but there was no availability to extend, so he recommended us one very close where his sister has homestay and he took our luggage there with his motorcycle.

Not great , but price was low when we booked so it's fine, it's deep into street and around 1km from tam coc pier
