    Lovely stay at Tam Coc Golden Mountain Homestay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I wanted to extend my stay a little longer as my Sapa bus was only in the evening, and they kindly allowed me to do so for a small additional charge. Really appreciated their hospitality. Highly recommended! 😊

    The owners were very kind and accommodating, and helped us book a bus for the next day too. We were even able to rent a bike from them. The room was spacious and the AC was great, and the bathroom was nice and spacious too.

    CONS: There was only 1 THIN sheet as a comforter for the bed and it was dirty and had hair from previous occupants. The bathroom had an awful smell the entire time, which we found out was coming through the sink drain. Must plug the sink and even fill with water to stop the smell from seeping into the bathroom and the entire hotel room!! The shower gel also had MOLD in it and had a horrible stink. We used a bit and realized the smell was coming from the body gel. Thank goodness we realized before washed our bodies with the mold filled body wash! The breakfast is only good early in the morning, the second morning we arrived late to breakfast and the pho broth had been noticeably diluted. We asked for laundry service and it took them 1.5 days to return our clothes to us. When they did, they were still damp and multiple pieces of our clothing had mysterious brown stains on them. After bringing it to their attention, they took another 12 hours to clean it again. Thankfully, the stains were gone the second time around but it disturbed me to think about what it was from. PROS: The owner and staff were friendly.
