A true hidden gem – we will definitely return! We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully renovated little house. It has been designed with great attention to detail and combines style, charm and comfort perfectly. Everything feels cosy, practical and very well thought out. The location is truly special. The house is set nearby a couple km away from the city of Tavira inside a nature reserve. The house is located inside the Pedras d’el Rei resort beneath a huge pine tree, next to an old olive tree, surrounded by birdsong, flowers and the beautifully maintained gardens . It is wonderfully peaceful, especially in the evenings, and far away from noisy party destinations. With its large green spaces, it would also be a lovely place for families with children. We also enjoyed the resort amenities, like the breakfast at the resort bistro and the free Yoga class. The absolute highlight is the nearby beach - Praia do Barril - one of the most beautiful we have ever seen: several kilometres long, clean, unspoilt and never too crowded. The charming little train to the beach, which is included in the stay, makes the experience even more special. The kitchen is small but very practical and equipped with everything you need, including an induction hob and a Bialetti coffee maker. The house was spotless, comfortable and very easy to access. Check-in and the key collection were completely straightforward, and having a free parking space directly outside was very convenient. We would happily have stayed longer and will definitely return next year. Excellent value for money and a genuine hidden gem.

Everything was fine, so it’s hard to say—the only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer.

On aurait préféré un micro-ondes à un four classique ainsi qu’un petit congélateur (utile pour un séjour prolongé) Un lave linge serait un plus pour ce beau logement Une bouilloire serait utile Nous n’avons rien compris à l’utilisation de la tv, impossible d’avoir les chaînes habituelles Manque de prises électriques dans le séjour (1 seule)
