Paulines Place

Visiting Fishguard for the Folk Festival, the holiday park is only a ten-minute walk from the hub of things around the square (with the convenience of the Co-op en route!). Also, Pauline's Place is level with, and close to, the site entrance, avoiding the climb to some of the caravans I've rented on the site in the past. Not the largest caravan I've rented there, but its cosiness was appreciated, likewise the layout, with a rear hallway separating the bedrooms, WC and shower room from the kitchen and lounge/diner. All equipment worked perfectly,, including the boiler (sometimes this has proved problematic). And I've never known a van so well appointed in terms of kitchen equipment, loose furnishings, large-format flat-screen TV etc.

On returning to the van late on a chilly night, I tried unsuccessfully to light the gas fire to take the edge off the chill. However, an efficient fan-convector heater had been provided as an alternative means of warming up the lounge.
