Off the Road Oasis

Well appointed kitchenette with a full size refrigerator. Porches looked inviting but the day's were too hot to enjoy and the A/C kept the interior comfortable. Cabin layout was well balanced and the housekeeping was well done. I did see alarm controls and a camera system but did not avail myself to operate. The neighbors at adjacent RV spaces seemed friendly with waves and smiles as they passed by. Host was welcoming and seemed to be nearby but I did not meet in person. All in all, a tremendous value if staying in Lufkin area.

Completely uncontrollable from an owner standpoint, the location- behind a medium to large industrial facility for recyling Metal, maybe, was the only drawback. Frequent and close-by trains passing were also a suprise. The freeway/frontage road construction made the initial locating of the property a challenge and I had to circle back around the one-way detours a couple times before I saw the small sign posted at the corner of the road. Passing a couple derelict properties gave me pause, and I wondered if I was at the right locale. However the tiny home cabin was trim and well kept- surrounded by a lush rural countryside. On demand water heater system dictates some pretty quick showers.

New cabin, nicely decorated, big tv, conveniently located, clean comfortable queen bed.

Quiet location, beautiful surroundings. The small touches throughout the cabin were greatly appreciated. Bed was comfy and the AC was nice and cold. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again.
