Excellent location.This is a high-end neighbourhood, and the local train station is very well-connected. Convnience store one minute away , mini supermarket three minutes away. Noodle shop 1 min away always has a queue...for a reason! This small house is quite packed with guests. Most of them longer term. However, my room was spacious and comfortable. The host was really nice , very communicative and very kind in organising a bike for me to use around this lovely local area. She speaks Chinese and English, as well as Japanese.

Many people need to use the one available shower. The place feels quite 'youthful' and might be more suited to students or younger professionals than clasic business travellers. Some longer term guests are a little inconsiderate of others sometimes (immature, brattish, possibly prejudiced?), but most are friendly and kind. Noise is a bit of an issue; i think is quite common for japanese-style buildings (footsteps are always loud and one housemate has a habit of slamming and banging everything all the time).
