Rustic lodge with private hot tub fireplace & riverfront views - dog-friendly

Hearing the rushing river is what is the most important to us, and this property definitely delivered! House is older, but has updated appliances and fixtures. Good location, 5 min drive to Hoodland market. Nice fireplace- warmed up the living room quickly.

Only 1/2 of one clothes closet for the entire house. No hangers, I bought some and left them there. No TV in either bedroom. Fire restriction went into place while we were there, it will be on all summer, so don't plan on using the firepit anytime from end of June to at least Sept. Shower curtains are $5 at Dollar Tree, personally, I think it would be nice and a small expense, to have a new clear shower curtain or liner with each guest. In the laundry rm bath, something had spilled on the walls, & it was easily cleaned off, housekeeping had missed it.

The property was very cute and private. It was very quiet and being able to sit by the river was nice. We spent a lot of time on the back deck and it was nice to be able to grill. Would have been better if we could have had a campfire but you can’t control nature.

Very hot with no AC or fans. The hot tub has a broken jet and scratched my husband pretty badly. Fresh air would have been great but with no screens it was hard to keep the bugs out. The beds were so uncomfortable and the temp inside the house was almost 80 degrees 2 out of the 3 nights.
