Appartement d'exception a Saint-Germain-des-Pres

This apartment is a Gem in Paris. Beautifully situated off blvd st. Germain. Very clean and well maintained with luxury finishing. You could smell the cleanliness in the apartment. Apartment layout and dimensions are excellent. Work station. Large dining table. 3 bathrooms (2 of them have showers & a his/hers sinks in the master bedroom. Large bedrooms. Comfy beds and pillows. Floor to ceiling closets. Microwave and stove and hood very modern/tech new. Ceiling fans!!! Wow those were life saviours especially since we visiting in Summer! No elevator but its on the 1st floor so super manageable. A Hoover is available which was super handy in keeping the apartment tidy especially if your there for a long stay and with 2 toddlers like us. Nice little courtyard as you look out of the windows. Calm & quiet in the evening. I think it was 2 apartments that were merged into one because the apt has two entrances. The Host was super nice and accomodating with Check-out. Given that in part we agreed to late check-in due to a maintenance issue that required a technician who could only make it in the evening. But it ended up being an ideal situation for both of us. I was less bothered by my check-in time and much more in need of late check-out. So the host all in all very accomodating, responsive and reasonable. The cleaning person the host employs is amazing and super nice. He helped us out with our luggage, trash and even returning the keys to the drop-off site because he saw we had a lot of luggage and 2 toddlers that it would have been a hassel for us even if it was just a 10 minute walk. We ofcourse showed him our gratitude!.

Very small things as suggestions in the spirit of improvement or filing in a few gaps. New set of forks, spoons and knives (large, medium and small). Since the microwave, stoove and hood are very modern/tech new, instruction on how to use would be very beneficial. Also i would think the host would benefit more from these how to use instructions to ensure the fancy kitchen appliances are well handled for longevity. I would however consider updating the washer/dryer. I would also add a cloth hanger to let cloth dry out after a wash. At Euro 1,000 per night, I would also say it's on the expensive side. We switched 3 apartments all within the same arrondissement and the same level/quality/specs. Comparables would dictate ideal value for money should more fairly put this apartment at Eur 600-700 per night.
