Staff gave 3 stars cus no staff there, just self check in so not a bad review, just neutral review, compact room and separate dedicated toilet / bathroom on the same floor

The room is surprisingly very cozy the blanket is very thick and you’ll feel like you’re camping on a sleeping bag. The room is very small, yet it offers an authentic traditional Japanese experience. The bathroom is even smaller and is in a different room at the hallway. Only downside is that there aren’t any staff there, and the hosts didn’t give me my room number and password. I had to call them and waste 45 minutes of my time just standing outside.

The location is excellent. Very close to train stations and plenty of food places. Despite the proximity, the train noise wasn't bothersome, though earplugs are provided if you are a sensitive sleeper. The room is clean and perfect for a solo traveler, but it would feel crowded for two people. Overall, it's highly worth the money for the convenience.

There are many good points about this place. The location is excellent. It is close to several metro lines, including the Midosuji Line and Sakaisuji Line, which are literally about a 3-minute walk away or less. The JR and Nankai lines are also only about 4 minutes away. There are also many convenience stores nearby, including a Lawson right across the street. A Mega Don Quijote store is also just a few minutes away, which makes the location even more convenient. This feels more like an apartment than a typical hotel. I booked the Junior Suite, and it was the perfect size. Even though the space is small, the living room and bedroom are nicely separated by a door. The bed is on a tatami floor, so the room has that beautiful tatami smell, which I really liked. The bathroom is small, but that is common in Japan. There is also a small bathtub, which was a nice bonus. So why only four stars? Honestly, I would give it more like a 3.7, but I rounded it up to 4. My main complaint is that since this is not a regular hotel, there is not always someone at the counter. If you have a problem late at night, you kind of have to fend for yourself. They do provide a way to contact them, but staff are not always on-site. Another issue is that the bathroom can sometimes have a urine smell because it is so small. It is not all the time, and I think keeping the window and door open helps with the smell. Overall, this is a great place, especially for the price, location, and room size. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Osaka.
