The Beach Escape

The house is located in a quiet residential area. House worked well for family of 4. Good location, easy walk to the beach as long as you weren't carrying lots of beach paraphernalia. Beds were clean and very comfy. Nice fluffy towels and a good supply of toiletries. Bathrooms and bedrooms very clean and comfy.

I felt the kitchen lacked some care and attention. Kitchen cupboard doors and drawers need some maintenance. The icebox in the fridge needs defrosting as it was preventing the door from closing properly. (I had to knock some ice off from around the frame.) The kitchen cupboards could be organised better giving an extra cupboard for groceries perhaps. The cupboard under the sink is a disgrace! There was the bear minimum of cutlery and no microwave dishes for warming food or cooking veg etc. The cutlery drawer contained food crumbs and around the base of the fridge was dirty partly due to missing skirting. I realise times are hard but none of what I have mentioned would cost much to put right. Please don't let this review put you off, its a great holiday home for a short stay. I'm just super fussy and expect a high standard of cleanliness for money paid.

Location was good, near bus , train and road routes. Easy walk to local amenities I.e. beach, shops.
