Palm Tree House

Excellent location, handy for walking to restaurants and shops. Large house, with good sized rooms, nicely decorated and very clean. Easy check in and good communication from the host before arrival.

Expensive stay at £220 per night. Parking space was awkward to get into because of the amount other parked cars at the back of the property. Patio area wasnt very secure for dogs . Biggest disappointment for us was the 9 am check out, it did say in two different places on the booking listing that check out was up to 10am. I think 9am is very early and is a tall order for people with children, or for older folk. Charging people an extra £20 per hour for a late check out is a bit steep considering the original cost to rent.

The house was really lovely, very clean and comfortable. A home from home, very well equipped, beds were very comfy. Local amenities were all at hand. Short walking distance or drive to the beach.

Its a beautiful house. Very clean with all the facilities a family would need. It has all the comfort too with plenty of tech & games for the family to enjoy indoors but right in the heart of the town to explore the outside.

We didnt arrive till late evening on the friday 21.40pm to be precise. I was greeted with a text message stating that i had to promptly vacate at 9am on the sunday morning with a list of duties to perform including stripping the beds & emptying the bins. I didnt realise i had to do the cleaners job. We were staying for 2 nights only. I asked if we could check out a bit later & I was told it would be £20 per hour. I thought that was extortionate & ive never had to vacate earlier than 10am especially on a weekend. I will never book this again & future bookings i will be checking the check out times before hand. I brought this up in a message to be told an essay of the logistics for their cleaners. It was all projected on to me. I found this so stressful. I refused to strip the beds. I left it clean & tidy. I did empty the bins & left all the towels in the bath. So disappointing that the way we were treated caused such an impact that has put me off visiting Filey again.
