Lovely relaxing break in the countryside just outside Scarborough. Excellent breakfast

The rooms were roomy staff were friendly
There wasn’t a full mirror in Castle Howard Room or anywhere to do make up or hair in the room. The curtains didn’t close properly and were very scruffy. The mattress was a bit soft and the tv in the bedroom needs to be higher as cannot see it properly because of the edge of the bed

Beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and friendly and really helpful, going out of their way to make the stay perfect. The rooms were lovely and the toiletries in the bathroom very luxurious. Absolutely nothing to complain about: good range of tea, coffee and water in room too.

Lovely area. Great walks. Nice building set out. Food was great and staff friendly.
Some parts of the building needed updating , stair cases awfully noisy, keep you awake at night ! There’s was little in the way of a spa
The last day breakfast service was poor. Almost felt forgotten, got served cold coffee, got replaced with a tea! By the time the toast order came we had finished the entire breakfast and just wanted to leave .
Had a massage which was a bit more like a stroke if I’m honest but ok
