About this villa rental
Sunset House is a stunning 4 bedroom retreat in the gated Indian Palms community in Indio, built for groups who want to relax and have fun together. Watch movies from the water at the poolside cinema, soak in the spa, challenge your crew on the private putting green, and keep the games going inside with a billiards room and a ping pong room, all in a home that rivals a private resort.
Sleeping up to 12 guests, Sunset House is the perfect home base for family getaways, group trips, and sunny desert escapes year round. It's also minutes from the Empire Polo Club for Coachella, Stagecoach, and Head Trip, and a short drive to the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells.
The Space
With nearly 2,500 sq ft and 2.5 bathrooms, this home is designed for groups. The open concept living and kitchen area is the social heart of the home. Gather around the chef's kitchen island to cook a group breakfast, or decompress by the fireplace with drinks and great conversation after a long day out. Every bedroom comes equipped with its own Smart TV, so everyone gets their own space to unwind when the night winds down.
But the backyard? That's where Sunset House becomes something else entirely.
Your Private Resort Backyard
Step outside and into your own exclusive resort. No other guests, no shared spaces, just your group and an incredible lineup of amenities.
Poolside Cinema
Our signature feature. A full outdoor screen faces the pool and spa so you can watch movies from the water. Float in the pool or soak in the spa and enjoy a cinematic night under the string lights and desert sky. It's genuinely one of the most memorable things you can do as a group.
Pool & Spa
The private pool and spa are yours alone for the entire stay. Take a sunset dip, soak tired legs in the spa, or cool off in the afternoon when the desert heat peaks.
Putting Green
Challenge your crew to a round on the private 4 hole putting green, the perfect way to kick back in the afternoon or wind down after a long night out.
Two Grills & Outdoor Dining
Fire up the natural gas grill for easy cooking, or the charcoal grill for that classic smoky flavor. With two grills going, feeding a group of 12 is fast and easy. Eat al fresco under the covered patio, with outdoor dining set up for the whole group.
Mountain & Fairway Views
The home backs onto the fairway, giving you open space and stunning mountain views. Start your mornings with coffee on the patio and end your evenings with the desert sunsets this house is named for.
Indoor Games
Billiards Room
A dedicated room with a full size pool table and dartboard. Whether it's a late night tournament or a lazy afternoon, there's always a game going.
Ping Pong Room
A dedicated ping pong room keeps the competition going indoors, any time of day.

We had such a great stay here for Coachella! The house was exactly what we needed - clean, spacious and perfect for a group. The layout made it easy for everyone to hang out, get ready and still have space to relax. The location was super convenient for getting to and from the festival which made a huge difference after long days in the heat. The outdoor space was also a highlight, perfect for mornings and winding down at night. Communication with the host was smooth and easy the entire time. Everything was clearly outlined and check in/out was seamless. Would absolutely stay here again!
