About this house rental
Cross the Highway 12 Bridge and feel something shift. Shoulders drop. Phone goes quiet. Somewhere between the bridge and the driveway, the vacation actually begins. Perched above Beaver Lake with panoramic views, designer interiors, and sunsets that stop conversations mid-sentence, The Golden Hour Overlook is 10 minutes from Downtown Rogers and miles from your everyday life.
The Space:
That feeling you've been looking for: cross the Highway 12 Bridge over Beaver Lake and feel something shift. Your shoulders drop. Your phone feels less urgent. The water stretches out below you, and somewhere between the bridge and the driveway, the vacation actually begins. Welcome to The Golden Hour Overlook at Beaver Lake.
A Home Designed Around the View: perched high on a hillside above Beaver Lake, this professionally designed retreat puts panoramic lake views at the center of everything, literally. Step through the front door and the lake greets you like an old friend. The water is part of the interior design here, visible from nearly every room, a living painting that changes with the light all day long.
The living room is equal parts stunning and comfortable, with plush seating, a queen sleeper sofa, fast WiFi, and a smart TV for the nights you want to stay in. The dining room seats 6 at the table plus barstools at the island, and flows directly onto a full-length deck where the real magic happens.
Outdoor Living That Will Rearrange Your Priorities: this home was built for the outdoors. The main deck is where you will stretch out on chaise lounges in the afternoon sun, gather in the outdoor living area for what guests consistently call the most spectacular sunsets they have ever seen, or deal a hand of poker while someone fires up a meal al fresco.
Head down the deck stairs and the experience shifts into something quieter. Large Adirondack chairs surround a fire pit set on a platform that floats above the lake, purpose-built for stargazing, marshmallow toasting, and long conversations. Tuck into a hanging egg chair on the lower patio with a book. Did not pack one? We have a library waiting for you.
A Kitchen and Breakfast Nook Worth Waking Up For: the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a real meal, or throw together a snack between lake activities. But do not skip the breakfast nook. Pour your coffee, take a seat, look out at the water, and prepare to feel like you wandered into a Hallmark movie. It is that good in the morning.
Dream a Little (or a Lot) in the Flex Workspace: beyond the kitchen sits a dedicated workspace with seating for up to 4, plug-ins, and high-speed WiFi. We always say leave work behind, but this is a genuinely great place to write that book you have been putting off or sketch out your big plans for the year. Something about this place makes dreaming feel possible. The space also doubles beautifully as a bar setup when the kitchen chef needs everyone out from underfoot and someone has to take cocktail duty seriously. Consider it a promotion.
Bedrooms Built for Real Rest: All 3 bedrooms in this home include their own designated bathroom, organic cotton sheets, a smart TV, device charging connections, room-darkening shades, and a mattress guests consistently rave about. Soft lighting throughout.
The primary suite features a king bed and a private ensuite with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom also has a king bed, with a tub and shower combo bathroom conveniently across the hall, which can also serve guests using the queen sleeper sofa in the living room as well.
The Downstairs: A Whole Other World. Take the spiral staircase down and discover an entire second living space that feels like its own retreat within the retreat. This lower level features a queen bed with an ensuite shower bathroom, an electric fireplace, smart TV with Xbox, a Golden Tee arcade game, bar seating, comfortable lounge seating, board games and sliding glass doors that open directly onto the lower patio with hanging egg chairs overlooking the lake. This space strikes a balance between fun and restful.
The Details That Make the Difference: every inch of this home was thoughtfully curated by the Pink Door Design team to do two things at once: bring people together in fun and beautiful shared spaces, and offer genuine privacy and rest when you need to recharge. It holds both, beautifully. And true to its name, this house really shines in the golden hour. When the sun begins its descent over Beaver Lake and the light turns warm and long, there is simply nowhere else you will want to be.
Some places you visit. Some places you feel. This is the second kind. If you have been waiting for the right time to gather your people, celebrate something, or simply exhale for a few days, this is your sign. Book now and let the countdown to your golden hour begin. We are inclusive - all are welcome.

The Neighborhood:
The Neighborhood: Tucked Away, Yet Perfectly Located
The Golden Hour House sits in Rivercliff, a beautifully wooded hillside neighborhood perched above Beaver Lake. It feels like a world apart, quiet, tree-lined, and serene, yet Downtown Rogers is just 10 minutes down the road and Downtown Bentonville is a breezy 30-minute drive. This is that rare location where you genuinely get both: the peace of the lake and the pull of two of the most exciting small cities in America.
On the Water: while the neighborhood does not have direct lake access, Beaver Lake is easily accessible. Just across the Highway 12 Bridge, you will find a public boat launch. For everything else, Prairie Creek Marina is 9 minutes away and has you covered for boat storage, rentals, fishing supplies, and fuel. And while you are there, do not leave without stopping at Jaclyn's Cafe, recently relocated to the marina, for what many consider the best pancakes of their lives. Jaclyn is a local legend, serving up great food with Whistle Stop Cafe vibes.
For the Adventurers: Hobbs State Park and the legendary Karst Loop mountain biking trail are 10 to 15 minutes away, making this an ideal home base for cyclists, hikers, and anyone who feels most alive when surrounded by the Ozarks. Beaver Lake itself offers some of the best fishing in the region, and with the marina just minutes away, getting out on the water or in the trails, could not be simpler.
Downtown Rogers: 10 Minutes Away
Rogers punches well above its weight. Just 10 minutes from the front door, you will find acclaimed dining, the iconic Onyx Coffee Lab, independent boutiques, vibrant art, and a downtown scene that rewards wandering. Whether you are after a long Saturday brunch or a late night out, Rogers delivers.
Downtown Bentonville: 30 Minutes Away
Just 30 minutes away sits one of the most talked-about small cities in the country. Bentonville is home to the world-renowned Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, a thriving culinary scene, world-class mountain biking trails, and a downtown square that is equal parts charming and electric. A day trip here is essentially mandatory.
The Bottom Line
Whether you are coming for the lake, the trails, the food scene, or simply a few days out of the grind, this location checks every box. Beaver Lake views, Ozark nature, and two great downtowns all within reach. It does not get better than this.
