Restaurants and shopping are nearby and just a short walk away. The Peene is a river with swimming-quality water, perfect for swimming, fishing, and various water sports, such as sailing. Wolgast offers its guests a wide range of recreational activities. Set out on a bike ride along one of the well-maintained bike paths, take a cruise on one of the sightseeing boats, or enjoy the view of the city from the tower of St. Petri Church, located in the heart of town.
