Forest and country house - Villa near the Veluwe + Hot tub

Bos en Buitenhuis is a spacious, detached vacation home in the Veluwe. The home is located in a small-scale vacation park near beautiful, expansive forests teeming with wildlife—perfect for cycling and hiking. The house is surrounded by a large, sunny private garden with grass, flowers, and trees, allowing you to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.

Inside, you’ll find three bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, and a living room; the house measures 90 m². The garden features a covered area and a hot tub with an outdoor shower.

Bos en Buitenhuis is set in a vast wooded garden (1,200 m²), making you feel as if you’re in your own private paradise. You can see nature from every window in the house. Squirrels also regularly run and jump through the garden—it’s so much fun to watch!

The house has 3 bedrooms with double beds. In one of the bedrooms, you can move the beds apart. All bedrooms are equipped with screen doors so you won’t be bothered by insects at night.

There’s so much to enjoy in the surrounding area. There are plenty of cozy restaurants surrounded by nature where you can enjoy fresh game. But there are also plenty of options in the charming villages for great meals and entertainment. We’ve created a (digital) travel guide for this area.

There’s a small but nice bathroom, a washer and dryer, a spacious kitchen, and a living room with a large sofa. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal: a good oven, a brand-new induction cooktop, and a Quooker.

In the garden, you’ll find a wood-fired hot tub.
In the winter, it’s wonderful to heat it up nice and warm, but in the summer, you can heat it up just a little and use it to cool off.
There’s also a cold shower under the canopy for the real die-hards! ; )

Guest Access
You’ll have the entire house and the 1,200 m² garden all to yourself. There’s a large covered area where you can enjoy the shade on warm days.

From the park, you can hike or bike along various trails. There are clog trails and beautiful routes through the woods just a stone’s throw away.

In addition, the nearby villages (Voorthuizen, Garderen, Kootwijk) are very charming in both summer and winter.

Other things to keep in mind
The cottage is located in a small-scale park and is not suitable for young people, groups, or parties. It’s important that it’s quiet outside by 10:00 p.m.

A cottage in nature is never completely empty. We keep the cottage very clean, but we can’t always keep insects, flies, and spiders out.PGJyPgPGJyPgSince Bos en Buitenhuis is located in a rural area, the internet connection isn’t always great. We also don’t have a TV package, but we do have a Chromecast and an HDMI cable.
