The property is a great size and feels very spacious throughout, which is ideal for groups. The surrounding area is excellent, with plenty of walking routes nearby, and it’s especially well-suited for dog owners, with lots of trails directly adjacent to the estate. The location also offers good access to main routes, making it a convenient base. However, parking was quite challenging. Although the property is situated on an estate, cars were parked throughout, including directly in front of the house, which made unloading difficult. There is one dedicated parking space at the rear, but for larger groups, it would be difficult to accommodate more than one or two vehicles. Clear marking of the designated space would help avoid confusion for guests and others using the area. Inside, the living room is spacious but only has a small sofa. There is plenty of room to add more comfortable seating, which would make a big difference for groups of more than two or three people, rather than having to rely on dining chairs. The garden also required some maintenance, with a number of weeds and a gate that felt a little insecure.

The main downsides were the lack of comfortable seating, the poorly maintained garden, and most notably the parking arrangements. With two cars, parking proved to be very inconsistent and difficult at times, which detracted from the overall experience. Due to these issues, I would be unlikely to stay again unless improvements are made—particularly given the price point being charged.
