The Country Barn Guest house is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, you're welcomed by its cozy atmosphere and beautifully maintained surroundings. Every detail has been thoughtfully cared for, creating a warm and inviting space where you instantly feel at home. The restaurant is exceptional, offering delicious, well-prepared food and an excellent selection of beer that perfectly complements the experience. Whether you're stopping by for a meal, drinks with friends, or simply to unwind, The Country Barn delivers on every level. The overall experience is simply excellent – charming, relaxing, and memorable. It's one of those special places that keeps you coming back, and I couldn't recommend it more highly.

The location is perfect for an easy walk into town. The addition of a taphouse, pottery studio and restaurant for dinner, was a really pleasant surprise. The restaurant food and service was fanstastic...exactly what we were looking for!

There was nothing we did not like, our stay was most enjoyable and comfortable. We did have an early start the next morning and there seemed to be no cold water in the bathroom taps? I presume there is wifi, it was not needed so we didn't ask the question.
