The location of this apartment is perfect for exploring all parts of Carcassonne - on a quiet street just away from the main square and bars and shops , bakeries etc . 30 mins walk to the old city The apartment had everything you need for a stay in Carcassonne - comfy bed and settee and a great coffee machine . The shower was great too We didn’t cook in the apartment but everything you need is there The apartment also felt safe with a fob for the front gate . It’s in an old building and we felt like we were experiencing real life in France staying here
I don’t want to say anything negative about this apartment - the weather was very hot when we visited so keeping cool was challenging but the fan is effective and the windows open wide to let in the air Top floor location may put some people off
