The C & A Studio

The studio was freshly painted. The appliances appeared to be brand new. The fridge shelves and crisper drawers were still held with light blue tape. Plenty of parking, quiet and isolated but only 5 mins from town. Great location to start your exploration of the Wild Atlantic way. Comfortable bed, comfy chairs perfect for two.

Glasses and plates were mis-matched but quaint. Could have done with a coffee or occasional table (used a stool for our coffee). Needed washing pods & fabric softener for the new washer drier. TV didn’t pick up free to air tv but streaming service was good.

The location is perfect it's just outside Killala village, and the studio is spotless and had everything I needed. Highly recommend.

I couldn't find anything not to like.

Great facilities and location

Expensive compared to other options.

It is described as a studio but it was much bigger than I thought, large studio room with comfortable arm chairs, table to eat at, separate kitchen and shower. Lovely peaceful location on the back of a large house but with the privacy to feel completely self contained. Parking was ample for our campervan to park and turn around and unpack bikes etc right outside the door. It is the only property I have seen with a washing machine and efficient dryer which offered much needed respite and relaxation after a few weeks on the road with the campervan. Welcome treats such as fruit and chocolates very well received .

It was perfect. Off the tourist beaten track but with fabulous cycle routes to visit monasteries and abbeys, stunning beaches for swimming and two local lively pubs within walking distance.
