Peaceful homely Maisonette in North London - Pass the Keys

Location is in Walthamstow. Not too far from the station. The space is compact and manageable. The house is clean.

Unfortunately, our stay fell short of expectations in several areas I feel are worth highlighting for future guests. **Parking:** The listing advertises parking with the property, but the designated space sits within a permit-only zone. In practice, this meant sourcing paid parking elsewhere in the area upon arrival. This discrepancy between what is advertised and what is usable on arrival is misleading and worth clarifying in the listing. **Bedding:** The listing permitted a booking for one adult and two children (three guests in total), yet only two pillows were provided and no additional bedding was available. When raised with the property manager, we were told the listing was intended for two people — which contradicts the booking capacity we selected. Guests should not arrive to find bedding that doesn't match the number of occupants the platform permitted to book. **Bathroom door:** The toilet door jammed within the first few inches of opening due to the absence of a proper handle. Adults had difficulty operating it, making it effectively unusable for children without adult assistance throughout the stay. When this was reported, the manager requested video evidence before taking any action — a response that felt disproportionate given the circumstances already experienced. **Ventilation:** The bathroom extractor fan was insufficient for the size of the space. Each of these issues, taken individually, may seem minor. Collectively, and in the context of how concerns were handled, they significantly impacted our stay. I would encourage the host to review the parking description, ensure bedding matches actual guest capacity, and address the bathroom door as a basic accessibility and safety matter.
