Highly appreciated to spend a night in the quiet countryside with nice views on both fields and forest at just a 20 min walk away from Panauti bus station. Easy to find along the wide road towards Namo Buddha. Can also be reached with one of those tuk-tuk typical of Panauti in less than 10min. Nice to taste authentic local food, locals come in this tiny restaurant for lunch. The dal baht was delicious and varied, the breakfast traditional and plentiful. For sure the entire family genuinely wants to make you happy in their modest house.
Just ask for the road towards Namo Buddha and you’ll find it. I had a bit of a hard time asking locals upon my arrival but it ended up being far easier than it seemed for my gps. It’s basically straight from the bus station crossing the bridge, don’t pass the town gate.
