L’emplacement proche de la plage et des commerces

L'emplacement est un peu éloigné du centre mais du coup très calme. La plage est à 700m donc parfaitement faisable à pied. Un carrefour express est juste à côté, il fait du pain et viennoiserie, ce qui est très pratique. Corinne, qui est chargé de remettre les clefs est très sympathique et arrangeante.

Le logement manque de modernisation, pas de climatisation, pas de WiFi. Ameublement un peu vétuste. Un grand nettoyage en général serait aussi à revoir. Le réfrigérateur n'était pas très propre. Le carrelage de la salle de bain est moisie, les oreillers avaient des grandes oréoles jaunâtre. Un problème avec la chasse d'eau qui n'a pas été réparer. En bref, quelques travaux à prévoir je pense.

The apartment has bunk beds in the entrance hallway and a fold-out couch in the living room area. The dining table is on the balcony, where it’s very enjoyable having a morning tea/coffee and eating meals while watching the seagulls fly around. The property has a well-stocked kitchen: microwave, toaster, coffee maker, water heater, 2 burner stove, sink, dishes, glasses, pots and pans, utensils, dish detergent, dish cleaning sponges, and refrigerator. Some paper towels and toilet paper are supplied, but depending on length of stay, a family might need to bring extra. A small grocery store is conveniently nearby, as is a really great vegetable and fruit store. Parking is available on the street. The building is secure and I felt very safe.

When I checked into the property, it clearly had not been seriously cleaned in a long time. Corrine, the person who is the guests’ contact, made things right, coming over at 19:00 and scrubbing for two hours. The place looked so much better, thanks, Corrine!!There are a couple of issues: There is no AC, wifi, or elevator. There are many steps to get to the apartment on the 2nd floor, if access is an issue for someone. There is a ceiling fan, but that doesn’t help much if mosquitos are out and the large glass door to the porch has to be closed, trapping heat. Oddly, the tube leaks that supplies water to the back of the toilet, requiring one to turn off and on the water to the back of the toilet between flushings. A bucket is currently placed underneath the dripping line - a plumber could easily fix this. Lastly, the property is kinda isolated from many things1/2 mile from the beach and almost a mile from the downtown area.
