The location suited us well for visiting family in Ivybridge. The walk back from town was a challenge at times for us, being older. The hill did give us a workout. The house was spacious, clean and well equipped. There was space on the road in front to park because we felt the drive was a bit steep for us parking on it. The area was nice quite.
The decor was clean but a bit dated. One ceiling rose in the sitting room was a bit loose. The sitting room curtains were off the rail a bit on the left side and were a bit old and worn. The garden was a bit overgrown , some of the bushes could do with a trim. The garden looked inviting at the back of the house and the views were good over the countryside but the bushes surrounding were a bit unruly so we didn't venture to sit out.

It was easy to access the key. The location was good, a short walk to the town centre, though down a very steep hill. There are a couple of shops that stay open until 10 pm, including the Co-op, and there is a large Tesco's a few minutes' drive away. It is only a few minutes' walk to Longtimber Woods. The accommodation suited us perfectly. The view was very nice, and there were plenty of items to make use of, including extra towels and bedding if needed. Also extras in the kitchen such as tea and coffee, and condiments. There were some books and DVDs, and useful booklets for nearby attractions. Saltram House was well worth visiting. The decor is quirky.
The shower was not comfortable because the shower head could not be fixed in the right position. There were plenty of items to make use of, but too much clutter to be able to find everything easily. I did not find the sink plug or the hair dryer until the third day. There were no instructions, so we had to work out what to do with the rubbish and recycling, and we did not find the tumble dryer until the end as it was in the garage.

Lovely location
The hot watet pressure is really bad making having a shower a nightmare. Tried to message host and booking.com and got no response.
