Waou Malasaña Luxe- Short Term Rental

The apartment has been beautifully remodeled with modern upgrades throughout. The central air conditioning worked perfectly, and the American-style full kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The layout is spacious, with plenty of storage, comfortable bedrooms, updated bathrooms, and lovely balconies that made the space feel even more inviting. The ambiance was warm and relaxing, and the location was excellent—surrounded by great coffee shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of everything we needed.

I contacted the property to cancel my reservation within five minutes of booking after realizing there was no elevator. We were traveling with a family member who has a medical condition that makes climbing multiple flights of stairs very difficult. Unfortunately, despite contacting them almost immediately, they were unwilling to cancel the reservation. It was even more disappointing to discover upon arrival that, while the apartment is listed as being on the second floor, it is effectively a third-floor walk-up with a significant number of stairs and no elevator. I found this to be quite inconsiderate given the circumstances. Thankfully, we managed by assisting our family member every time they needed to go up or down.

Loved the location , and decor. Communication with host was great as well. There are three flights of stairs to get to the apartment for those with mobility issues. It was not a problem for us and would definitely stay again.

The house was very stylish and modern. Everything in the house was high quality. They had all the household items we might need. Moreover, the unopened packages of olive oil, detergent, salt, etc., were a great help. Every detail was thought of. Thank you for the little surprise we encountered upon arrival. We enjoyed the treats. The house overlooked the square, and there was a park and many cafes to sit in front of the door. The area also has plenty of pubs and shops. In that sense, it was very enjoyable for us. Having a large supermarket a few minutes away was a big advantage.

I didn't have a negative experience. There was no elevator, but I rented the apartment knowing that.
