Mtn-View Bryson City Cabin: 1 Mi to Deep Creek!

This was one of the best rental experiences we’ve had. The cabin was as expected/as pictured, very clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and spacious for our family getaway. It’s in the woods so there were several wildlife sightings (groundhogs, fireflies galore, and even a family of deer). The firepit was great and was perfect for making s’mores. We also appreciated the proximity to the downtown area (less than 5 minutes) and the motion detector lights. The cleanup/checkout process was also easy to follow and very fair. If we return to Bryson City, we’ll absolutely look to stay here again. 5/5 would recommend!

The only few things that were less than ideal were 1.) the driveway was a bit steeper than expected (not an issue for our 4wd vehicle, just caught me off guard), 2.) the dresser drawers in the bedroom on the left had a slight damp/musty odor (not a big issue, and to be expected with an infrequently piece of wooden furniture), 3.) some of the light switches were unclear - using a label maker would be very helpful since the sharpie has worn off), and 4.) having 1-2 more outlets or even usb-outlets would be helpful for the right side (not wall-side) of the bed in the left bedroom.
