We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful bungalow in Dumfries, and I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and thought has gone into the place. The decor is stunning stylish, warm, and incredibly welcoming with a real attention to detail that makes it feel both luxurious and homely at the same time. Every room has its own charm, and everything has been finished to such a high standard.
One of the standout features for us was the little play room/den in the attic. It’s such a brilliant touch and made the stay even more special for the kids. They absolutely loved having their own little space to relax and play it felt like a real treat for them and gave the whole stay an extra layer of enjoyment for our family.
The bungalow itself is spotless, well-equipped, and clearly looked after with pride. You can tell the owners have gone above and beyond to think about what guests might need, and it really shows.
The location is also lovely peaceful, scenic, and perfect for switching off and enjoying some proper downtime.
Overall, it was one of those stays where you feel comfortable straight away and don’t want to leave. We’ve come away feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already talking about when we can come back.
We will definitely be returning in the future a truly special place.

Absolutely stunning property located within an easy 10 minute walk into town. It is beautifully furnished, the kitchen is fully equipped for 6 people and is truly a home from home. There is off road parking in the private driveway next to the house and the property itself is situated in a very quiet residential area. We were a group of adults but there is also a children’s play room in the converted attic which would be great for the wee ones. The back garden has been landscaped to an exceptional standard and is a glorious suntrap. There was excellent communication with the host. Probably the best property we have stayed at ( and we have stayed in many, both in the UK and abroad !)

The property was clean, cosy, and full of art and colour. It had a homely feel with a really positive atmosphere throughout. The fireplace was fantastic for the weather, adding to the overall comfort, and both the kitchen and rooms smelled fresh.
