About this house rental
The house sleeps 11 comfortably in 6 bedrooms: two with queen sized beds, three with two twin beds, an done with a single bed.
The large front living/dining room is surrounded on three sides by floor-to-ceiling windows, and an additional sitting room has a working fireplace. There are two small screened porches: the "Green porch," is great for contemplating the lake, and the "Breakfast porch" which gets the morning sun.
Outdoor facilities include two docks, a canoe slip, and a moored raft. Swimming is accessible from the dock or by wading in from our "Shelving Rock."
You are welcome to bring your own kayaks, canoes, sunfishes, or paddleboats and launch them off the canoe slip, or rent or launch your own power boat in Holderness and keep it at our dock for your stay.

Shelving Rock Camp is directly across the cove from the Chamberlain Reynolds Memorial forest's three small beaches and several miles of trails. Squam Lake is 6 miles long and 4 miles wide with numerous coves and islands to explore. The movies "On Golden Pond" was filmed at our cousins' house just a couple of hundred yards down the shoreline.
