About this apartment rental

Summary:

Living in history: Apartment in 1790ies weaver's house

The Space:

NEW Accees to co-work space.

Our cozy apartment is located in the historic Wollweberhaus in the heart of the historic center of Dudeldorf - an ideal starting point for your holiday in the Eifel. It is part of a building complex from the 18th century, which was completely renovated a few years ago and received an award at the Eifel Building heritage awards. Historic elements meet modern design here. The village bakery and the castle are directly round the corner of the little alley that gives access to the apartment.

Guest Access:

The ground floor apartment has an open floor plan - one large room combines living, dining and cooking. One guest can sleep here on the pull out sofa.

The newly renovated bathroom has a shower.

The washing machine and dryer are in a separate room.

The spacious bedroom (16sqm) has a comfortable double bed (180x200), a spacious antique wardrobe and blackout curtains.

The Neighborhood:

In front of the apartment there is a small terrace for a cozy evening with a glass of wine or for a barbecue. In the village you will find all services: restaurants, bank with ATM, bakery, supermarket, train station (2 km.), ideal for relaxing in the country, for cycling and hiking tours (Kylltal, Himmerod Monastery), Eifelpark Gondorf, Trier (28 km. ), Moselle Valley, Echternach, Luxembourg, Bitburg (brewery).

There are several free parking lots in the immediate vicinity.

NEW! For 8 EUR/day and according to availability you can use the Co-work space in the former coffin warehouse in the neighborhood with 4 work desks and 2 Zoom desks, see photos. Our accomodation is now perfect for students or home office workers.

Getting Around:

The A60 motorway is around 6 km. away, either exit "Badem" (coming from Belgium or the Netherlands) or "Spangdahlem" (coming from AK Wittlich).

The nearest train stations are in Philippsheim (2 km.) or Bitburg-Erdorf (6 km. with a taxi rank) on the Eifelexpress line (Trier-Cologne, usually every hour).

The nearest airports are Luxembourg (Findel) or Hahn ("Frankfurt-Hahn").

Other Things to Note:

Dudeldorf is a quiet village with little traffic but no museum

Interaction with Guests:

The apartment has its own private access from the outside and guests have exclusive use of the small seating area surrounded by greenery in front of the door.
