About this house rental

Summary:

Pet-friendly 3-bedroom townhouse two miles from the Oregon coast, set up for monthly stays. Quiet end unit of a remodeled triplex on the north side of Lincoln City. Dedicated workspace, in-unit washer/dryer, full kitchen, forest-view deck, one-car garage. Walk to Devils Lake trails; ten minutes to Roads End Beach. Dogs welcome with a fee. 30-night minimum, utilities included, no long-term lease.

The Space:

This is the end unit of a quiet triplex in Neotsu, a small community on the north end of Lincoln City just across from Devils Lake. Recently remodeled and set up specifically for 30+ night stays — guests who want the Oregon coast for a month without paying coastal-resort prices.

Good fit for snowbirds, remote workers on a budget, writers and creatives looking for quiet, people in transition (relocation, renovation, between homes), and dog owners.

A real workspace. Dedicated desk setup in the main floor bedroom — proper desk, office chair, monitor, room to spread out. High speed wifi, strong enough for video calls and remote work.

Open-concept main floor. Vaulted ceilings, big windows looking into the trees, cream sectional sofa, long dining table with bench seating for six, breakfast bar with stools, smart TV. Kitchen opens to living and dining — easy to cook and stay in the conversation.

Kitchen built for a month of cooking. Light wood cabinets, electric range with oven, full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave. Keurig with starter pods — if you're particular about coffee, bring your own setup. Cookware, knives, and dishes for six.

In-unit washer and dryer. Full-size, dedicated laundry room with utility sink. Detergent and laundry pods provided.

Three bedrooms, two baths.

- Main floor bedroom: king bed + dedicated workspace

- Upstairs primary: queen bed, ensuite bath (rain showerhead, marble-look tile)

- Upstairs second bedroom: queen bed

- Main floor full bath

Forest-view deck. Blue-painted with Adirondack chairs, looking into mature trees. Large green backyard with a trampoline. Quiet — you'll hear birds, not traffic.

One-car garage and driveway for storing bikes, kayaks, surfboards, or whatever Oregon-coast gear you bring.

Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the entire townhouse, deck, backyard, and one-car garage. This is the end unit of a triplex — you share one wall with neighbors. We always book guests into the end unit specifically because it's the quietest of the three. The garage is yours for the duration of your stay; driveway parking for additional vehicles.

Self check-in at 4 PM via smart lock. Smart lock code provided before arrival. Check-out at 10 AM, with flexibility for monthly guests when our schedule allows.

The Neighborhood:

Neotsu is small — an unincorporated community of around 600 people on the northern shore of Devils Lake, just across from Lincoln City. That's part of the appeal: outdoor activities and peace and quiet, away from the busier coastal traffic, while still putting you minutes from everything Lincoln City has to offer.

The Pacific Ocean: Coastline and tide pools. Roads End State Recreation Site (dog-friendly beach): ~7 minutes by car. Lincoln City Beach: ~10 minutes — and from mid-October through Memorial Day, the Finders Keepers program places colorful glass orbs daily on the beach. Whoever finds them keeps them.

Devils Lake: Walking access via neighborhood path. Trails, fishing spots, kayak put-ins, and Sand Point Park for swimming.

Trails and walks:

The Knoll Open Space Trailhead — a 3-mile loop with Pacific and lake views from the top

Connie Hansen Garden Conservancy for coastal botanical walks

Beach walks at Roads End and Lincoln City

Eating without going home to cook:

- Wild Flower Grill (4 min) — local breakfast spot

- Kyllo's Seafood & Grill (10 min) — ocean-view dining

- Side Door Café & Eden Hall, Gleneden Beach (20 min) — farm-to-table

- Lincoln City has a respectable food scene for its size: sushi, brewpubs, taquerias, good coffee

Day trips during your month:

- Cape Foulweather and Devils Punchbowl: 30 min south

- Cascade Head and the Salmon River: 15 min north

- Newport (aquarium, working waterfront): 50 min

- Tillamook (cheese, forest): 60 min

- Portland: about 2 hours when you need a city day

Getting Around:

You'll want a vehicle for a stay here — Neotsu has no walkable downtown of its own, and the things that make a month at the coast worth it (the beach, the trails, the grocery store, the better restaurants) are 4-15 minutes by car. Parking is easy everywhere on this side of Lincoln City.

Essentials within a 10-minute drive in Lincoln City:

Full-size grocery (Safeway, Grocery Outlet, McKay's Market)

Pharmacy and urgent care

Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital

Gas, hardware, gym, laundromat (if you need more capacity than the in-unit W/D)

Coastal Route 101 runs straight through Lincoln City — easy north-south driving up and down the coast for day trips.

Air travel: Portland International (PDX) is about a 2-hour drive — manageable for a monthly arrival/departure. Eugene (EUG) is closer to 2.5 hours.

Public transit: Lincoln County Transit runs limited buses connecting Lincoln City to surrounding communities, but most monthly guests find a car essential.
