Accessible via an external staircase, it leads to a gated balcony where you can unwind in the fresh air, reveling in delightful views across the Avill Valley. As you step in from the balcony, you enter the open plan living/dining room, seamlessly connected to the well-equipped kitchen on the far side. The cozy double bedroom awaits on your right, and a small corridor leads to the convenient shower room.
Duddings Country Cottages offers a plethora of on-site facilities to ensure year-round entertainment, regardless of the weather. Indulge in the on-site indoor heated pool and spa bath, complete with changing and shower facilities. The pool and spa bath are heated through an eco-friendly wood chip biomass boiler. The games room, featuring a pool table, table tennis table, and table football, is an inviting space with additional seating – perfect for relaxation or observing the children at play. Meet the charming Shetland ponies, Zag and Zebedee, grazing in the pony field, while Dixie, Ziggy, and Zippy roam in another field.
For the little ones, the Gate Lodge Play Centre is a two-story haven with swings, a slide, a fireman’s pole, and an assault course for endless amusement. A table and bench nearby allow adults to stay close while watching the fun unfold. Other on-site amenities include a hard tennis court available on a ’turn up and play’ basis, with racquets and balls provided. A large trampoline with protective barrier netting and a football net in the ’play paddock’ offer opportunities for cricket, badminton, kite flying, and more. Please keep dogs on a lead in this area.
