A classic hilltop Craftsman on Ortega Ridge with 180° ocean views — real wood floors, a light-filled sunroom, and hiking trails out the door; sleeps 8 with a bonus loft. Some homes have a view; this one has the whole coastline. From its perch atop Ortega Ridge, the Pacific stretches 180 degrees from Rincon to the harbor, and the house itself is the kind of genuine, character-soaked Craftsman that modern builds imitate and never match — real wood underfoot, vintage National Geographics on the shelf, family artwork on the walls, and light pouring through the sunroom all day long.
THE SPACE. The chef's kitchen opens to outdoor dining for eight set against a wall of ocean — dinner here is the reason cameras were invented. Three warm bedrooms and two baths anchor the main floor, while the loft level adds bonus sleeping and play space that kids claim as headquarters within minutes.
