Great Value and Authentic Local Experience in Santurce I recently stayed here and overall, it offered excellent value for money. If you are looking for a functional base to explore San Juan, this is a solid choice. The Room & Amenities: The unit was clean and well-equipped for someone who prefers to handle their own logistics. It features a full-size fridge, a microwave, and basic cooking utensils, which were essential for preparing my own meals and storing supplies. Washer and dryer are available in the communal area. The Host: The host was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay, making the check-in and communication process seamless. Location: Located in the Santurce neighborhood, the area has a very local, authentic vibe. It is not a "fancy" tourist district, but it felt genuine. It’s a great spot if you want to see how the locals live, though it may feel different if you are used to more commercialized resort areas. Things to Note: The biggest adjustment was the lack of hot water for the shower. For those of us used to a constant hot water supply, it definitely takes a bit of getting used to! It caught me off guard at first, but it seems to be part of the local experience in this type of housing.

The apartment is very clean and well maintained. Keep in mind you are close to tourist areas but not IN the tourist areas. I appreciated the aspect and insight into the local life in PR. It is a very authentic experience and one I plan on returning to. The host was very responsive and helpful to any inquiries or issues I encountered. WiFi was solid and strong enough to work from without issue. Had such an amazing time!
