Entrance and access
Guests enter through the green door into a small shared hallway. The pink door leads to a private stairway down to the lower level. At the bottom of the stairs, you will pass through a shared laundry area to reach the private entrance to your suite. Once inside the Rainbow Suite, the entire space is fully private and exclusively yours.
Laundry
A washer and dryer are located directly outside the suite entrance. These machines are shared and may occasionally be used by the upstairs apartment or our housekeeper during daytime hours, but they are easily accessible and convenient for longer stays.
Climate control
Baseboard heating throughout for steady warmth in cooler months
Mini-split system provides efficient cooling in summer and supplemental zone heating for personalized comfort
Parking
Street parking in this area can be very limited and competitive, especially in the evenings. Street cleaning occurs multiple days per week, and it can take time to find a spot.
Basement apartment: This is a lower-level suite in a multi-unit home. It is bright and fully renovated, but it is still a basement, so expect a few typical basement quirks.
Sound from upstairs: You may occasionally hear normal household noise from the apartments above (footsteps, doors, etc.). Nothing excessive, but worth noting.
