Pristine blue skies and views of the surrounding mountains await at this tranquil, single-story home, beautifully situated in the open desert landscape of Tucson. In this majestic natural setting, you'll have a fenced backyard and a shaded patio that make a wonderful spot for family barbecues at golden hour.
This home boasts a prime location for hiking, with Tucson Mountain Park and its scenic trails less than two miles up the road. Here on the west side of Tucson, you'll also be close to downtown (five miles), the University of Arizona (seven miles), Saguaro National Park (nine miles), and golf courses in every direction.
No matter how you choose to spend your days, you'll delight in beginning and ending each one outside in the peaceful backyard. Sit down for alfresco breakfasts on the patio, indulge in afternoon naps in the hammock, and admire the sparkling night sky as you flip steaks and burgers on the grill.
The centrally air-conditioned interior is bright, open, and polished, with large picture windows framing mountain and valley views throughout. Enjoy a well-appointed kitchen (with double ovens, a top-of-the-line fridge, and both Keurig and drip coffee makers), a light-filled dining room, and a living room where you can stream movies by the wood-burning fireplace on cool winter evenings.

As we were visiting the Tucson area primarily to hike and mountain bike, this was an ideal location. Spacious rooms, nice linens, great living areas and very dog-friendly. The house is a little quirky-we had to make sure we allowed time between showers-but overall we would definitely stay again. Also appreciated the big garage for our bikes and car.

Overall, we enjoyed the property and would stay again.We would have liked to see the garbage disposal work.We missed the little things, for example, there were no shower supplies, soap shampoo, there was only 1 roll of TP, one small dish soap and the water seemed like it came from a well. We needed a few of the hotel type amenities that we get at other homes we have stayed.We loved the property, it is very roomy and the clean and updated. It is very secluded, which we liked and close to many hiking trails, our 2 dogs enjoyed their stay as well! We enjoyed our stay and the house worked well for our trip and we would stay again.

The home was clean and we loved the location. We also appreciate the size of the home with 3 queen and 1 king bed for adults. However, there were a lot of issues for a home that is hosting 7 or 8 adults that are not acceptable for the price. (#1) Internet service is terrible. 10Mb download and .5Mb upload...not usable for streaming or remote work or even our phones to check websites and stream music. (#2) The hot water system is lacking. The hottest water we got was not hot, and after several showers, it took a full day to replenish, so a few of us got to take cold showers regularly. (#3) The lights/fans and thermostat controls are not obvious. There needs to be a guide for how to control the Heat/AC and the fan controls. It was a frustrating time for a few days before we got things sorted. (#4) The water was not hooked up to the refrigerator, so no ice or filtered water. There was a small tabletop icemaker, but it required constant supervision to move the ice it made to the freezer to keep it until use. (#5) The doors only lock from the inside with a key and the house comes with only one key...other than being a safety concern since you cannot escape the house without the key in case of a fire, it was also a problem for those times when we separated and needed to get in. (#6) The kitchen was not well stocked with cooking supplies. The frying pan was very bad shape and there was a general lack of pots/pans and supplies.
