We recently stayed as a girls' long weekend of 7 guests. The house could not be more perfect for a large group. We loved the styling, the spaces and the 5 minute walk to the backbeach and 20 minute walk to the Portsea pub. While the main house is compact, it has a lovely vibe, gorgeous cosy fireplace, cute kitchen with stunning retro Smeg fridge and everything we needed. Note the table inside (pink! cute!) is tiny, so we used the outdoor table for our large group. Thankfully there is outdoor heating and the huge deck is stunning to look across Portsea. This home is right up the end of Portsea, near the backbeach and golf course and feels so delightfully quiet and restful.The owners had heated the pool for us so we swam in the gorgeous pool despite it being cold outside and had the best time. The separate pool house/bunk room has bunk beds and a fold out and the reports from the adult guests were that the mattresses were incredibly comfortable.The home also has a great front deck with table and chairs as well as the back deck, so there is plenty of space for people to have separate space. BBQ, pool, pool table, outdoor games, fireplace, walks, great beds, great waterpressure in the showers - honestly everything we could have hoped for. The electricity was a little unpredictable and we lost power to a couple of powerpoints for a short time, but we realised we needed to go outside to the fusebox and switch a fuse back on and we had no problems from there. Will stay here again for sure. I honestly hesitated writing this review as I don't want other people to find out about this as it will get booked out!! Such a gorgeous find.
