Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a hiking trip, or a break from everyday life—you’ll find the perfect retreat here on the quiet outskirts of Olzheim.
From here, numerous hiking and biking trails invite you to explore nature all year round. 
Visit the Olzheimer Drees: a local natural mineral water spring that can be perfectly incorporated into a hike or bike ride. 
In town, you’ll find a bakery, 2 restaurants, a fast-food joint, a gas station with an electric charging station, and 3 playgrounds.
The Prümer Land tours through the Schönecker Schweiz nature reserve are particularly popular, as are the NaturWanderPark delux circular hiking trails, which allow you to discover the southern Eifel and Luxembourg on routes ranging from 9 to 30 km in length.
The historic abbey town of Prüm, with its shopping, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlor, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, historic sights, museums, and movie theater, is only about 8 km away.
The vacation rental also serves as the perfect starting point for family outings to the Eifel Zoo in Lünebach (20 km) or the Eifelpark Gondorf amusement park (50 km),Phantasialand in Brühl (about 100 km), the vacation rental offers the perfect starting point.
And even in winter, Olzheim—located in one of the Eifel’s most snow-reliable regions—offers plenty of options for winter sports enthusiasts (two ski slopes, a toboggan run, and a groomed cross-country ski trail through the Schneifelforst) at the Schwarzer Mann (697.8 m) and Wolfsschlucht (10 km away).
