About this cottage rental
This bright two-bedroom property in Southwold is ideally situated next to the beach. It’s the perfect base for a family plus two dogs looking for seaside activities and easy access to local amenities.
After a day on the beach, rinse the sand from your feet in the ground-floor shower room then step into the open-plan living area. Light and simple tones make the lounge a relaxing place and it’s the perfect spot to unwind or watch a film on the TV. On warm evenings, push open the terrace doors and enjoy nibbles and a drink in the courtyard garden. When it comes to mealtimes, the neat kitchen has every appliance you’ll need to rustle up a meal and then serve it at the family table with seating for four people. When the day draws to an end, head upstairs and take your pick between a king-size and twin bedroom. Both the rooms are breezy and pleasantly furnished and you’ll be sure of a good night’s sleep. In the morning, freshen up with an invigorating shower then step into the private courtyard garden and enjoy breakfast at the table.
With the beach right on your doorstep, spend the day swimming in the sea, windsurfing, or paddleboarding. Afterwards, take a stroll along the promenade or head to the town centre, and grab a bite to eat at one of the fine seafood restaurants. Southwold also has a busy harbour and from the harbour you can jump on the foot ferry and make the two-minute crossing to Walberswick.
