About this cottage rental
Unwind in this elegantly converted barn with a mix of contemporary and characterful original features in the Suffolk countryside near the coast. It is sized for a small family or couple plus two canine companions and is within easy reach of quaint seaside villages, sandy beaches, and nature reserves. Make the most of the onsite tennis courts and enjoy relaxing evenings in the sunshine in the garden or snuggle up in front of the wood burner in the lounge.
Step inside the sociable and bright open-plan living space to find vaulted wooden beamed ceilings plus sleek and neutral-toned decor. Sink into the sofa and put a movie on the SmartTV while the wood burner is heating the room. Next to this space is a dining table with chairs where you can enjoy a home-cooked meal. The one-walled kitchen is neat and compact with glossy cabinets and modern appliances. There is one bathroom in this property and two bedrooms – a super-king-size with a TV and a twin room. Outside is a patio with furniture and BBQ.
While staying on the outskirts of the small village of Bramfield, you’ll have a canine-welcoming pub within 0.5 and an abundance of countryside walking routes from your front door. For a wider selection of eateries, Southwold is just 10 miles away and is home to a handful of restaurants, cafes plus a brewery. A nearby expansive sandy beach for a runaround and a dip in the sea with Fido is Dunwich Beach (7.5 miles). South of here is the RSPB Minsmere nature reserve (8 miles), where you can bird watch, follow hiking trails and discover viewpoints. Step back in history during your visit to the 1182 Leiston Abbey ruins (8.5 miles) and admire the Tudor buildings in the quaint village of Aldeburgh (16 miles).
