We provide a Host that will be on hand to accomodate the guests and she is easily reachable for assistance via Whatsap chat.

Casa Jaybird is located in the center of town on the north end that is the trendiest and best location in Playa del Carmen! It takes just a 3 minute walk to reach the beautiful Quinta Avenida and on the other side just about 5 minutes to Coco Beach. The location could not be better for guests who are looking for trendy freedom and easy vacation plans that can allow for spontaneity.

Its easy to catch a taxi from Casa Jaybird or the GPS system exactly like Uber is already in use in Playa. You will be able to ask for a taxi while still inside the villa! Taxis are very affordable here. For most trips within the center of town, the tarriff is less than 5 USD.

Dear Friends,

This home has been appointed with care in order to provide the comforts of home to the weary traveler. In Mexico natural resources are not plentiful and we ask for your consideration in the careful use of electricity and water.

The following are a list of “house rules for Casa Jaybird” (and travel tips) ……..

1. CASA JAYBIRD is a super-clean and elegantly appointed property that has many valuable original art pieces. Guests understand that this priceless home should be respected and cared for.
2. Electricity is included in this rental, nonetheless we ask that you to turn on air conditioning only when you are in the home and shut off when you leave as well as all other electrical appliances in order to conserve energy. This is a vital request to not only provide for your comfort but also to allow us to offer an accessible rental price for such an extraordinary home
3. Secure all doors and windows while you are not in the house.
4. NO SMOKING inside home or in common areas.
5. Do not hang towels on balconies or outside railings.
6. Please make sure all towels, chairs, beach umbrellas and coolers are returned to the property at the end of each beach or pool day and at the end of your rental.
7. No pets or animals of any kind.
8. Keep food covered inside fridge and keep kitchen counter tops free of food and crumbs to prevent insects from entering the villa.
9. We suggest that you clean fruits and vegetables with antibacterial agent. There is a bottle provided and you can purchase more at any of the local grocery stores, if needed.
10. No GLASS in patio areas near pool so that the pool is kept clean and safe.
11. Please be mindful of neighbors when swimming after 10pm.
12. Do not leave garbage anywhere. Remove debris after each time spent in common areas or places where the home is in view of the community.
13. Children not permitted to play on any stairs, balconies, the street or driveways or rooftop without adult supervision.
14. Children not allowed in pool without adult supervision.
15. Please keep music and voices at considerate volume.
16. PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH TOILET PAPER OR OTHER HYGIENE PRODUCTS DOWN THE TOILET. IT CAN CLOG THE SEPTIC SYSTEM OF THE VILLA OR CONDO AND CAUSE A PLUMBING EMERGENCY!!!
17. No parties without express permission of owner or property manager. If it is discovered that the guest has had a party and irregular cleaning or damage takes place the guest, security deposit will be forfeited and damages will be charged to guest. No unregistered guests or service providers are permitted in the villa.
18. Please conserve water as much as possible when showering or washing dishes.
19. Apple TV is provided for your comfort. The person who checks you in will explain how to use it Please do not alter APPLE TV connections. If there is an issue with APPLE TV services please call property manager OR send a whatsap message to villa owner.
20. We provide Filtered rain water to drink and for ice that is dispensed by the fridge. We will also provide glass re-usable water bottles for your convenience in the hope that you will not purchase any plastic bottles here. If you do end up with a bottle made of plastic, no problem! Just rinse it out and we will take care of recycling it
21. Please try to clean off as much sand as you can from feet and legs before entering the home.
22. We are a VEGAN family and so even though we do not ask you to refrain from animal foods in our home, we do ask that if you are intending to cook meat that you may consider dinning at one of the wonderful steak houses close to our home. Please do not cook fish in our home as its very difficult to take out the odor
23. Regarding cooking: The kitchen plumbing is not like other more developed places. Therefore we ask you that when you are cooking food or washing dishes to be diligent in preventing any solid debris from going down the drain
24. One last thing…… In this area of the world we use tile and concrete for flooring. That in mind, sometimes with beach/pool etc., the floor can be slippery. Please use caution on tile and concrete floor surfaces
