Boasting views over the garden to the cliffs and sea, this detached family home is in a tranquil spot on the outskirts of St Cyrus.. All on the Ground Floor:

Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Economy 7 central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi by dongle included. Logs for wood burner available locally. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack and doggy extras. . Enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This is a birdwatcher’s paradise and is within an easy walk of the village shop, café and hotel. Furnished with care to maximise the light, inside this single-storey property there are full length picture windows in the bright living room and a well-equipped kitchen. The extensive garden with mature trees and expanse of lawn, is a wonderful sun trap to enjoy after a brisk walk along the beautiful sandy beach.
St Cyrus beach is nestled at the bottom of the cliff, which is accessed either by a steep walk from the local church just a few hundred yards away, or for the less adventurous, there is an easy drive down to the beach on the outskirts of the village at the nature reserve. A walk along the shoreline offers a good chance of spotting porpoises and other marine life in the clear waters. The spectacular cliffs and dunes are a National Nature Reserve and home to a variety of wildlife - peregrine falcons and fulmars are often spotted, as well as divers and other sea birds. Deer inhabit the wooded area at the top, and rare butterflies and plants can be found throughout the reserve. The owner has thoughtfully provided binoculars for your enjoyment. St Cyrus is between Montrose and Stonehaven, both bustling seaside towns with golf courses, shops and leisure centres, whilst inland the Angus Glens are easily reached for some excellent walks and spectacular scenery. Fishing is also available locally. Beach 300 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Sweet Hope was the perfect holiday accommodation for my family in a fantastic setting. The bungalow has wonderful views out to sea; a quiet, sunny garden (with a fab washing line!), is within a few minutes walk of a National Nature Reserve & wonderful walks. The bungalow is spacious, clean, well equiped, practical for outdoors, warm and peaceful. Thank you. We hope to return.

We stayed for 4 nights and couldn’t get the radiator on in the hall. The owner came out but he couldn’t fix it. The ow era were very helpful. Other than that the house was lovely and well equipped. Beautiful large window in the lounge with views over Montrose. Great big garden which was good for our dog. The house is out in the back of beyond if that’s what you are looking for. Great relaxing holiday.

Lovely cottage, we loved the layout, views and the large garden, especially for our dog.We all had a great time, it's a beautiful part of Scotland. St. Cyrus and Luna Bay beaches were spectacular. Recommend the Cliff Path walk behind the church, views are outstanding (when the weathers nice!). If eating out, Roo's Leap in Montrose is worth a visit (although on the pricey side).Overall we had a great time.

Sweet hope was an enjoyable break for us. The location was stunning and the accomodation clean and comfortable which also had an amazing view. It was well equipped and had everything we needed . Would definitely return.
