Forget your worries and step into a spacious, serene cottage designed for comfort, connection, and true relaxation. My partner and I thoughtfully built this home with every detail in mind to create a cozy, quiet retreat, our own little cottage paradise that we now love sharing with guests.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the peaceful energy of the space. Surrounded by nature and set in a quiet area of the Bruce Peninsula, this is the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and reconnect, whether you’re here for a family getaway, a couple’s retreat, or a relaxing escape with friends.
🌊 Location, Location, Location
One of the most special features of our property is its proximity to a hidden gem beach.
Just a 2-minute drive or a scenic 16-minute walk brings you to a calm, shallow, and uncrowded shoreline that feels like your own private beach. Unlike busier destinations, this area offers a peaceful setting where you can truly relax. The shallow water is perfect for families, while the steady breeze makes it ideal for windsurfing and paddleboarding.
Nearby, you’ll also find some incredible local spots:
Sauble Falls (approx. 15 minutes) – a beautiful natural waterfall perfect for exploring and photos
A nearby tree-lined dirt road that feels like a tunnel of greenery—perfect for peaceful walks or scenic drives
Red Bay Lodge (approx. 10 minutes) – a great spot for casual outdoor dining
The Dunes in Sauble on Thursdays offer free line dancing lessons for a fun, local country experience
You’re also perfectly located to explore:
Sauble Beach (14 minutes) – one of Ontario’s most popular sandy beaches
Tobermory & the Grotto (55 minutes) – crystal-clear water and iconic views

The cottage is designed to be both spacious and comfortable, with areas for gathering as well as quiet moments.

A bright, open-concept layout
Cozy, comfortable furnishings
A peaceful environment that encourages relaxation
One thing that makes our home unique is that we’ve intentionally limited technology in the bedrooms to encourage guests to unplug, spend quality time together, and fully enjoy the natural surroundings.
🌿 Outdoor Living
Outdoor space is a big part of the experience here.
The main-floor deck, just off the kitchen, includes a BBQ and a dining table, perfect for outdoor meals, morning coffee, or evening drinks. The backyard offers space to unwind, enjoy nature, and gather around the fire.
Both upstairs bedrooms feature private balconies, where you can:
Enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by nature
Listen to birds and the quiet of the area
Relax under a sky full of stars
On clear nights, the stargazing is incredible, and at certain times of the year, you may even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.

We stayed here to accommodate our large group, be close to family and clise to all the beautiful sites to see in the area. This home was clean, comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed. 🙌

Great cottage with lots of space and bathrooms/showers. Nice backyard with tall trees and surprisingly not many bugs.
Host is excellent - very quick to respond and goes over and above to help make it a great stay.
We would stay here again!
