We had a wonderful stay here. The room was comfortable and had a really welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. A special thanks to Xiaogang, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist. His hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would happily stay here again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Our Favourite Stay in Shuanglang We absolutely loved this hotel (minsu)! It is beautiful, charming, and one of the most memorable places we stayed during our Yunnan trip. Location: Excellent. Just a few minutes’ walk to Shuanglang Ancient Town, making it very convenient for food, shopping, and sightseeing. Compared to other ancient towns, Shuanglang feels smaller and less commercialized, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere is much more relaxed and authentic. There are many restaurants, cafes, and local shops around the area. We also had the opportunity to experience the traditional 扎染 (tie-dye) activity, which was a wonderful cultural experience. We found a fantastic restaurant and a lovely folk music bar (民歌酒吧), making our stay in Shuanglang Ancient Town one of the most enjoyable parts of our trip. Highly recommend the restaurant - 三门小厨🤩🤩🤩🤩 We had the dinner there for two nights 🧡🧡🧡 Staff: Incredible service. We were assigned a personal butler (管家), 小赵, who followed up closely on our requests throughout the stay. He was friendly, humble, attentive, and always ready to help. He also gave us excellent food recommendations, and every one of them was worth trying! Room: Spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The room comes with a washing machine, which was very convenient. Although there is no dryer, the staff are happy to help dry your clothes and will hang them at their service area for you. One of the highlights was the bathtub overlooking the beautiful Erhai Lake. There is nothing more relaxing than soaking in the tub while enjoying the peaceful lake view. Breakfast & Extras: Breakfast has a smaller selection compared to larger hotels, but it was sufficient and enjoyable. Every evening, the hotel also provides a complimentary good-night drink, which my son and mother absolutely loved. It was a thoughtful touch that made us feel warmly welcomed. View & Environment: The property is beautifully maintained and offers a peaceful atmosphere. The Erhai view is stunning, and the overall environment is perfect for relaxation and slowing down. This hotel holds a special place in our hearts because it was where we celebrated our wedding anniversary. Between the beautiful surroundings, attentive service, comfortable room, and wonderful memories we created here, this was truly one of our favourite stays in Yunnan. We would happily return again.
