We booked 2x Deluxe rooms which were shown as bigger, with Sandstone walls and had windows with sitting area near the windows. When we reached there, the owner was shocked to see the booking cost after the coupons applied and started arguing that Agoda made a mistake in booking. He gave us just the 'Standard rooms' which were smaller and with no windows, as they were cheaper. We might also have accepted the stay as maybe there was a mistake made, if the rooms were clean. Both the rooms were very dirty. There were dirt marks all over the walls, the rooms were smelly, the bathroom was dirty, with even the toilet bowls not cleaned from previous use.
To top that off, the bed was extremely dirty. The bedsheets was full of stain marks, the pillow cover had turned black and brown from dirt, the headrest was full of dirt and the blanket was smelly and stained as well. When we raised the issue of changing them as they were dirty, we got a response, that they do send them for washing regularly, but stains will remain and we shoould not have an issue in sleeping there. My mom's pillow also had the bindi's stuck to it from previous use.
If they improve the cleanliness and provide the customers what they had booked, it would still be a hotel worth staying. But from my current experience, I would not recommend it to others.
