Location: It is located not too far from the temples in Lumbini. You can hire a Tuk Tuk for about 3 or 4 hours to complete the tour of all the relevant temples in Lumbini. Room: It was not as spacious as stated in the website. Lighting is an area for improvement as the bathroom and the room were not that bright with all light being switched on. We had to change the first room that we were given as the A/C was not functional. In the second room with shower mixer was not functioning well. We were getting hot water on all positions and the pressure was not good. However, we did not want to change the room a second time. This was brought to the attention of the reception. Hot water: Running hot water available in shower but not in the sink. Air Condition: This was not working properly in the first room, even after the A/C was attended by the technician. Finally after three hours we requested for a different room. It was good in the second room. No excessive noise from the unit. TV: Had issues in the first room and was attended by a technician and had similar issues in the second room. Finally gave up as it was too complicated to resolve issues. Balcony: The room had a balcony, not that big but reasonable. Wardrobe/Closet: Just about adequate space provided for hanging clothes. Food: They do have a restaurant within the hotel and was decent in quality and quantity although a little pricy compared to other restaurants. Soundproof: The rooms were not that soundproof. We could hear people walking in the corridor and also noise from the upstairs room of chair being dragged. WiFi: Good Refrigerator: None Microwave: None provided Kettle/Coffee/Tea: Electric kettle is provided and two bottles of free water is also provided. You can make tea in the room with the two free tea bags provided. Bathroom: Basic toiletries and bath towel and hand towel. Shower cubicle. Spacious bathroom. Lighting is something that could be improved. Specially for people to shave. Socket Near Bed: No sockets are available near the bed. Elevator: None. Breakfast: Buffet is provided. Indian and western. Not much of western items but good Indian items. The staff was very helpful and supportive. No complaints. For the price I paid for the room, it was expensive for what you get. Looks like they cater to large groups and not that great or cost effective for individuals.

I truly appreciate the support from the front desk in getting the transport to and fro the airport. They also provided valuable advice on the visit to nearby attraction. But I must say the service at the resitaurent is truly awesome! They were buffet lunch and dinner during my visit but the restaurant was able to provide ala-cart service based on the menu, which was very helpful as the food menu suit me better than the buffet selection. Thank again, hotel BMG hotel!

The location of the hotel is great but it's a 2 decade old hotel and seems so outdated , staff is very corteous, food is delivered on time but has problems with lot of mosquitoes, no lift etc
