The location is great if you want to be right in Lakka and easily walking everywhere in the village. The beds were comfortable, the bed linens and towels were new and fresh without overly strong detergent smell. The host is very kind and enthusiastic over whatsapp, and very responsive.

It is loud, so if you are a sensitive sleeper and want quiet nights, book elsewhere. It is right on the main streets in Lakka, and kids and people are loud until at least 11pm. There is a mildew-ish smell in the room, which is common in old stone buildings. There is an intermittent buzzing sound through the night and into an early morning, we could not place it, I wonder if it is a water or electrical pump. There are no cleaning services, even if you book for over a week you will be charged extra to freshen the space up. There is no hot plate or microwave for heating food or making a simple meal at home. There is nowhere to hang wet clothes/bathing suits so you can get creative with figuring out how to do that!
