Dunes View

We thoroughly enjoyed our 20 day stay and were genuinely sad to have to leave. The dunes and beach were an easy distance one way and the shop and central area with bars, restaurants and play areas a short walk in the other direction. Having trees on one side gave a sense of privacy. Access and facilities within the property for my wheelchair bound wife and my carer duties were close to perfect. There was room enough for family visitors and two spare rooms for over night stayers and having two toilets was a godsend.

The door's latching mechanism needs a good dosing with WD 40 and / or adjustment- unlocking was no problem - but locking it needed several forceful upward yanks on the handle before the lock engaged. Some may not like the living room panoramic view directly onto the carpark, waste bins and mysterious small block house - but the bordering dunes significantly improved the outlook. Directions to the property need redrafting. " Proceed past the central area car parks and take the third turning on the left signposted Frith and Penarth. Nos 43 is the last home on the right"
